2. Prohibited Content

You may not use Out Rank to generate, publish, or distribute content that:

  • Illegal or Unlawful: Violates any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights in any jurisdiction
  • Harmful or Offensive: Is threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or hateful
  • Explicit or Adult Content: Contains pornographic, sexually explicit, or obscene material
  • Violent or Dangerous: Promotes violence, self-harm, or dangerous activities
  • Discriminatory: Discriminates based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics
  • Misinformation: Deliberately false or misleading information presented as fact
  • Intellectual Property Infringement: Violates the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of any party

3. Prohibited Activities

You may not use Out Rank to:

  • Generate Spam: Create low-quality, auto-generated content intended solely for search engine manipulation or unsolicited promotions
  • Search Engine Manipulation: Generate content specifically designed to deceive search engines or manipulate rankings (PBN content, keyword stuffing, etc.)
  • Scraping or Harvesting: Use Out Rank to scrape, harvest, or extract content from websites without authorization
  • Account Sharing: Share your account credentials or allow multiple users to access your account in violation of your subscription terms
  • API Abuse: Exceed rate limits, reverse engineer the service, or attempt to access systems you're not authorized to use
  • Security Violations: Attempt to gain unauthorized access, introduce malware, or compromise the security of our systems or users
  • Commercial Misrepresentation: Represent AI-generated content as human-written when required to disclose its automated origin

4. Content Quality Standards

We expect users to:

  • Review All Content: Thoroughly review and edit AI-generated content before publishing
  • Ensure Accuracy: Verify facts, statistics, and claims in generated content
  • Disclose AI Origin: Clearly indicate when content is AI-generated if required by applicable law or platform policies (e.g., Google's SEO guidelines)
  • Add Value: Ensure published content provides genuine value to readers, not just keyword-stuffed filler

5. CMS Platform Compliance

When publishing to connected CMS platforms:

  • You must comply with each platform's terms of service and content policies
  • You are responsible for ensuring your connected accounts have appropriate permissions for content publishing
  • Out Rank is not responsible for violations of third-party platform policies

6. Enforcement

Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in:

  • Content Removal: Removal of violating content from our systems
  • Account Suspension: Temporary or permanent suspension of your Out Rank account
  • Subscription Cancellation: Termination of your subscription without refund
  • Legal Action: Pursuit of remedies available under law, including claims for damages

7. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of content generated through Out Rank that violates this policy, please report it immediately to support@outrank.com.

8. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • All content generated using your account
  • Ensuring your use of Out Rank complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction
  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • Informing any users or readers that content is AI-generated when required

9. Limitation

While Out Rank implements content filters and monitoring, we cannot review every piece of content generated. You assume full responsibility for the content you create and publish using our platform.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or notice through the service. Your continued use of Out Rank after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
